DIVA Challenge #365 and something about my Zentangle classes "black" and "3Z"

DIVA Challenge #365

The task of this DIVA challenge was to create a monotangle of Carol Ohl`s tangle PUF.

This is my contribution, drawn on a renasisance Zendala with a wonky grid as basis.

The tiles for thi DIVA Challenges #363 and #364 I first posted and linked on Instagram.

Recently I run two Zentangle classes - Black and 3Z.

I am so happy with the results of my students and I saw them so happy that I want to share with you the results.

Zentangle Black Class:

I prepared three diffrent black tiles for this class.

First as a introduction Rick`s tangelation of Crescent Moon:

Second: The tangle Spoken as string for some different areas to fill.

I showed my students how to use the Zenstone and to draw with black again on white,

I showed some possibilities and variations and they filled the areas in their own way. 

The third tile is an Apprentice tile. We discovered the different white Gelly Rolls (05/08/10)

3Z Mosaic Class

I was curious about this class - I never made such a mosaic before.

First we used a prestrung 3Z tile and filled with Striping and Staric in two colours.

As we had six 3Z tiles we could create a hexagon mosaic.

See some variations of the mosaic: 

The second 3Z is a combination of `Nzeppel, Shattuck, Maryhill, Flukes and Mooka , using the blue Micron 01 and the dark blue Micron PN

Here we combined all 12 tiles to Stars:

And this was our third tile with a "Well" string.

When I see this fotos I am still happy rememberig this class- full of positive energy.

Zenbutton and Lonettas TMP#13

I ever wanted to draw a Zenbutton - at least I did it!
I tangeled this tile at the beach of the Baltic Sea - can you see the fine white sand ?

n my last post I wrote about my short trip to the Island of Rügen.
I can not resist to show you two more pictures as I love them so much:

In May Annette (Lonetta) published her newest Tangle Mosaic Project.
Again, she prepared a beautiful string, and here is my tile as contribution to this project:

This is a Mosaic Annette created using my tile (in the black/ white version)

What a beautiful May this year with some holidays and DC363 and 364

This may has flown away...  It was a month full of sun and beautiful days- it felt like summer.
Since my last post we had two long holiday weekends. The first one I spent in bed because of a crazy flu. The second one I was happy enough to spend some days on the beach of the Baltic Sea on the beautiful German Island Rügen. A very good place for recreation, indeed.

I did not tangle as much as I am used to, but I did not miss the DIVA Challenges:

DC#363:  "Laura's Auras"

I drew this tile sitting in the sun in a cosy Beach Chair:

For those of you who do not know how a typical Beach Chair of the Baltic Sea looks like:

This tile I tangleled at the beach as well. It is inspired by a plant which is called Sea Buckthorn (German: Sanddorn). It is a Duotangle of Verdigogh and Tipple ;-)  :

Among many other beauties we hat the possibility to watch a perfect sunrise (before 5 o`clock!)...

---the Sea Bridge of Sellin...

...the miracle of heart tangles... (baby fern)....

DC#364:  "Remake a Classic"

For this challenge I chose a tile from February,2015. It is one of my very first tangle, before I realized that this is Zentangle. I did not know anything about thie method- I only found a stepout and drew it. I do not know it anymore but I think that I "copied" a tile which I saw in the web.

Last Sunday I drew it again.
