CZTclasses, Zendala Moments#2 and DC#386

Last weekend I run two Zentangle classes with beautiful and very talented students.
Some of them told me before that they are looking forward to the nameplates from class to class and so I have a lot of fun to create them - appropriate to the lessons.
The first class was about Zengems and the second we created Zenbuttons and I teached a bit about fragments
the nameplates with Zengems and fragments

Ratoon with a Zengem in the center

a firework of colors - beautiful gems!
Zenbuttons in pink on renaissance tiles
Zenbuttons with letters in the outer circle

The idea of Zenbuttons comes from Marguerite Samama, CZT from the Netherlands. And she had also the idea to create letters as fragments and to play with them around.
Some of you may know that I love the Art Nouveau letters of C.R. Macintosh - I used them for these Zenbuttons. And later I created  large Zenbuttons with alphabets - and YESS- I love them!!

 Zendala Moments#2

This is my Zendala for Anettes "Zendala Moments#2" - What a beautiful string Anette created - simple and elegant in my opinion! I loved the process of tangling this Zendala:

DIVA Challenge#386

This was just the right challenge for me: Finish an abandoned tile ...
I have DOZENS of them in my little "Box of not yet finished tiles" ... just chose two of them and finished:
It is so interesting to see tiles finished which I have put away because did not like before ;-)
An it is obvious that nearly every tile has to get the chance to be finished...

Both tiles I finished with the tangle

Valentangles and DC#385, Fullmoonmosaic, TMP#16final

I still have not finished all the prompts for Marguerite Samama's Valentangles2019, but I really enjoyed to take part to these 14day's journey through the hearts tangles.
At least I finished 10 "tasks" and show you here days 7 to 10.
(Das 1-6 you can find in my previous posts)
These tiles I would like to take as my input in DIVA Challenge#385 (Valentines Day) as well.

Embedded Letter of a person I love!

Heart fragment flower II
A border with corners : created with my tangle "Keepsake"
StarIng (a tangle by StaubKorn) on a Zendala

Hanny Nura's Fullmoon Mosaic

Zendala created with the tangles "Bluster"(by Irina Wins) and "Tatu" (by Hanny Nura)

Lonettas TMP#16

Last week I showed you my contribution to TMP#16.
In this post you find the final result - a mosaic of all contributions.
Here are some examples of my own tile as mosaic:

WellWellWho

This is my first troy on WelWellWho- a tangle presented by Zentangle Headquarter.
It is based on the basic tangle Well ( which I use very often as fragment)
I drew it with a glass dip pen and Ecoline ink in cobalt green and grey.

Diva Challenge #384, TMP#16 and Valentangles days 4 to 6

DC#384 Use my tangle "Anthem" by Jody Genovese, CZT

UMT is a very nice opportunity to try a new tangle. Every day wanglers publish new tangles and it is really impossible to try all of them for myself.
So this first Monday of each month we get the surprise which tangle the DIVA chose out of all the beautiful tangles.
Anthem is for me a "stand alone" tangle - looks like interesting minerals. I embedded them in a wave of MySwing:

Tangle Mosaic Project #16

I am happy to hear that Annette has found a companion to run her very interesting Tangle Mosaic Project. Lisette Hofer has created this very interesting Mosaic string with exciting negative spaces to play with.
After drawing my TMP tile I was so curious to see how it will work in a mosaic- so I tried it myself to arrange my tile (copy and paste, mirroring and rotating the tile in a Powerpoint file. It was really fun!
You can see it in one of my next posts, after the official publication of TMP#16 by Annette.

Valentangles 2019 - days 4,5,6

Day 4 : Make a 3Z puzzle, using the "Love fragment" by Marguerite Samama

I used the "Love fragment" as string and filled it with Mooka, Shattuck and Beeline.

 Day 5 "Tangle an object"

This was a very smooth white stone from a beach of Connemara, Ireland.
I tangled it wit h"Heartswell" by Helen Williams ("Alittlelime")

Day 6 "Wholly-Hollibaugh with hearts"

I used this lovely technique with the tangle "W2" and filled the stripes of W2 with tangles:

Oh wow... I am looking forward to tangle the next days... See you soon!

Zendala Moments #1 and Valentangles2019

Annette P- (aka Loretta) started her new series of "Zendala Moments". You can find the link to the first session here.
Annette was my class mate during our CZT seminar #23 in Providence. I appreciate her as a friend and as artist and I am happy to attend her beautiful projects "Tangle Mosaic Project" and this new one.

I am not used to draw on prestrung Zendalas and so this is one of my first attempts to do so.

Valentangles 2019

Valentangles2019 is a facebook group which is run by Marguerite Samama CZT. She prepared 14 tasks from February, 1st until Valentines day to create tangles filled with love.
I adore Marguerites work and I am happy to contribute to this group.

These are my first three tiles:

Day 1 : use Marguerites "Love fragment" in a tile

Day 2: draw "Ratoon" around a heart

Day 3 : "Filling only a small area of the tile"
