What a beautiful May this year with some holidays and DC363 and 364

This may has flown away...  It was a month full of sun and beautiful days- it felt like summer.
Since my last post we had two long holiday weekends. The first one I spent in bed because of a crazy flu. The second one I was happy enough to spend some days on the beach of the Baltic Sea on the beautiful German Island Rügen. A very good place for recreation, indeed.

I did not tangle as much as I am used to, but I did not miss the DIVA Challenges:

DC#363:  "Laura's Auras"

I drew this tile sitting in the sun in a cosy Beach Chair:

For those of you who do not know how a typical Beach Chair of the Baltic Sea looks like:

This tile I tangleled at the beach as well. It is inspired by a plant which is called Sea Buckthorn (German: Sanddorn). It is a Duotangle of Verdigogh and Tipple ;-)  :

.
Among many other beauties we hat the possibility to watch a perfect sunrise (before 5 o`clock!)...

...the miracle of heart tangles... (baby fern)....

....and some huge poppies:

DC#364:  "Remake a Classic"
For this challenge I chose a tile from February,2015. It is one of my very first tangle, before I realized that this is Zentangle. I did not know anything about thie method- I only found a stepout and drew it. I do not know it anymore but I think that I "copied" a tile which I saw in the web.
Last Sunday I drew it again.

Some more tiles and impressions of the last weeks at SimTangle you can read soon in my next post
See you!

DIVA Challenge #362: "UMT: Somnee by Laura Harms, CZT"

Where has all the time gone? We have already May!

We have had a beautiful Spring season here in Germany, I should better say, we stumbled from winter into summer!

I was very busy during the last two month and had too seldom time for my own meditation tangling.
This week I am sick again, the second terrible cold this year...
I am missing my inner focus and hope to find it back soon.

This is my tile for the DIVA Challenge #362 , using the DIVA tangle "Somnee". As I am preparing a "Zentangle black" class for end of May, I decided for a black tile.
I combined Somnee with Cadent and added some pink as my signature ;-)

For some spring feelings  I add one of my coloured Zendalas :

This birthday card I created for my Mum- I had a lot of fun creating it.

Last not least some fotos with beautiful nature impressions:

DC#360 Tripoli with Shattuck .. Lonetta`s TMP#12 ...and a fantasic Zendala Workshop

This is my first blogpost after two very busy weeks... filled with daily work in my job, with the beauty of spring which came with a nature "explosion" and between some time for tangling ;-)
I am going to show some photos/ tiles of this time:

DIVA Challenge DC#360 : Duotangle Shattuck with Tripoli

I love Duotangles and both tangles belong to my favourites!
I started with a Tripoli "flower" in the center. All the other tangles "came in the flow"...
Thank you, Laura, for this beautiful challenge!

I did not publish the results of Annettes Tangle Mosaic Project TMP#12 yet.
The whole Mosaic of all contributions you can find here

I show you the little mosaic which Annette sent me, created with my own contribution.
Thank you Annette - I love your project and your efforts so much!

Yesterday I run a  Zendala Day- Workshop .
It was very intensive and really successful day - I love to see the motivation of my students and their creativity. Unbelievable...
Here are some of the results... aren`t they beautiful?!

Six hours are too short to draw four different Zendalas (with all the preparation and explanation and practising of the used tangles) so I decided to give some homework to my students...
I am looking forward to see the results soon. I love it to give the students some orientation but possibilities of variation as well.

The Beauty of Spring

Spring is the most beautiful season of the year for me.
I am not so good to find the right words for this enormous beauty, so I took only some photos, by the way...

The details of this ranunculus blossom reminds me to a tangle ;-)
