What a good idea... "Tangle in a Tangle" is the new DIVA Challenge.
Choose a tangle, use it as a string and tangle in it.
I chose "W2" and filled it with several tangles : Printemps, All Boxed Up , Maisie and a variation of Prestwood.
It is amazing what interesting ideas the DIVA has week after week! Thank you, Laura!
And I would like to show once more:
Last year I was not early enough to finish the Hollibaugh- Challenge (DC#245), because I was ill.
As I did not post it anywhere yet I show it here today.. In my opinion it goes with DC#252 as well.
I hope that all of you who are living at the East coast of the USA came through the winter storm last weekend without any injuries or other problems. My thoughts have been with you.
Hallo Simone. Wirklich gut umgesetzt.

A great choice to tangle within. You have drawn the fillings so carefully, lovely. I really like your Hollibaugh too and yes it does fit this challenge too.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is, but I can't stop looking at the first one. It's gorgeous, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love all the curviness in the boxiness and the depth. Kinda like a journey, it is. And your Hollibaugh for #245 is wild, simply wild.
ReplyDeleteThat first one is mesmerizing! I love how you made the Hollibaugh boards look round. Very nice!
ReplyDeletethe first tile gives a very special atmosfere, I really like that!!!
ReplyDeleteand in the second one, I love the white accents on the right place.
Both tiles are quite beautiful and elegant. We survived the snowstorm intact. Thanks for your good thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI love both tiles for their 3D effect! In the upper tile, I like how much is going on with all those crazy tangles going over and under each other. The shading of the lower tile is very nice, it looks like the "bars" are lifting out of the paper.
ReplyDeleteW2 makes a great string! I like this a lot.
ReplyDeleteThat first tile is masterful! Your rounded Hollibaugh is great too!
ReplyDeleteHow funny...I used W2 and Prestwood in my entry too;-) Such a lovely selection of patterns. I love your Hollibaugh renaissance tile...it's so dimensional, like a pile of pretty drinking straws.
ReplyDeleteLove your woven W2. Nice job shading. Really makes this pop.
ReplyDeleteAwesome work!
ReplyDeleteThis is great. Your tangle choice is wonderful and I really enjoy your tangleation of Prestwood. Your Hollibaugh piece is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteToll, was du aus W2 gemacht hast! Das sieht einfach klasse aus!
