DIVA Challenge #295: Reticula & Fragments again!

(English text see below)

Due to the fascination of "Reticula & Fragments" the DIVA is challenging us to another try of this technique. This week we shall use asymmetric fragments so that depending of their direction  interesting effects are created.

On my first tile I drew  rectangular grids (R-G1 and R-A1) and filled them with rectangular fragments (Q2,T2).
The second tile is also based on a rectangular grid (R-G2) , but I drew circles and used a fragment of my own tangle "Namody".
(The numbers in brackets refer to the book "Zentangle Primer Vol.1" by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas)

  2. Love them both, but my favorite is the second one! Such great depth and shading! Feels like I could put my finger through the hole and touch the pink accents! Fabulous!

  4. Your use of the technique is super. I have the book, but too many choices tend to overwhelm me, so I just have to make up my own :)

  9. Love both of your tiles. I have admit, I have the Primer but have not spent a lot of time going through it. Your top tile was similar to something I came up with when I was experimenting in my journal. I did not like the way it looked as it seemed everything ran together. I think that the separation of each square helps with this. I like the touch of purple in both tiles.

  10. Wow ... was für herrliche Tiles!
