After a beautiful weekend filled with Zentangle I came back in real life and found this DIVA challenge as a exercise which needed some concentration... Only straight lines- this is not so easy to remind tangles with only straight lines without having a look in a book or a tangle sampler....
But at least I found some- I must admit that I tangeled between working on some other tasks on my computer..
So the result is not so much inspiring, but at least I did it ;-)

DIVA Challenge #285 , MySwing - a new tangle and tangeled furniture
The challenge of this week is : Relax and tangle on....
I did, without thinking about tangles... I started with 4 pencil dots in the corners of a white Zentangle tile, connected the dots with pencil and drwe a swing line diagonal over the tile. I thought it to be a string and started to add some curvy lines and added more and more swings in each direction. Sometimes I added an orb ...I was in the flow and loved the result.
After auraing the first pattern I decided to add only straight lines now and it was so relaxing to draw them.
MySwing, Brella and Skwirl
Later, when I tried to name the tangles I used I could not find one for the tangle in the middle. Is it possible that I accidently created a new tangle?
After searching in several sites without any result I decided to give it my own name and to draw a stepout. So I would like to present you now my tangle "MySwing" .
I hope you enjoy it!
I love the story of its origin - without any intention, just by chance...
May be this is what the DIVA intended to teach us?
(If anybody knows that this tangle already exists- please let me know)
Last but not least I would like to show you the first part of my new "project" - I started to tangle my
Chest of drawers where I store my artist materails as for my Zentangle:
This was the work of the last weekend and took me some hours. Sometimes I will continue...

IAST #162
This week' IAST Challenge helped me to cope with smaller flight delays in the plane and on the airport. During a business trip to the southwest of Germany I travelled by plane from Dresden to Stuttgart. It is a short flight less than one hour, most time got lost with waiting... Good opportunity to draw a little bit☺️
The tangles of this week are "Ing" and "Hollibaugh" and "Bubbles".
Adele created a beautiful string for that.
And this is what I finished just now... in the departure hall of Stuttgart Airport waiting for my flight home. Hopefully we are going to start soon...we are already 30 minutes too late, and no sign yet...
This foto I took yesterday on my first flight. We had to wait for the start ...

DIVA Challenge #284 Monotangle "Tripoli"
This week the DIVA challenged us to create a monotangle with "Tripoli".
When I read that, I immediately remembered an evening in Providence, when Molly Hollibaugh gave a Meditation lesson during the CZT Seminar. This was such a great experience to get only spoken instructions what to draw and finally there grows a tangle on the paper before you....
This is the reason why I decided to use one of my Hotel Providence coasters as my tile for this challenge.
After filling the tile with Tripoli triangles I had the idea to fill each triangle with `Nzeppel.... And then.... May be it is now more a `Nzeppel monotangle??
Nevertheless, that`s my contribution to DC#284:

Sunday tangelation
Today I played a bit with grid tangles Villers, Puf, JJ and FlipFlap in my sketch book.
It was very interesting to analyze the diferences between similar tangles and to play with them.
Here I show you some details from my todays exercises i in my sketch book:

DIVA Challenge #283 - UMT: "Centre Square"
This week the DIVA gave us another UMT Challenge: UMT meens "Use my tangle" and she proposed to use "Centre Square" by Aleesha Sattva, CZT.
I combined it with a variation of my own tangle "Namody" (step out see here)

Travelling Tangles from San Francisco and Hamburg - completed!
I am happy to post tonight two travelling tangles which I received lately and finished now.
This is such a great experience- there is a lot of respect when I start to draw on a tile which has been started by another person. At the beginning I am a bit afraid to ruin it but after some strokes it is so much fun to see how the tile is changing...
I love both results and I am so grateful that and Michele and Anya shared this experience with me:
This tile arrived from Michele Wynne, San Francisco:
And this is my finished tile:
