Thi week the DIVA challenged us to create a duotangle with "Meer" and "Auraknot". I love both tangles, but did not draw them for a while. So I had an occasion to do it now.
When I thought about how to combine both tangles I remembered last week, when I had a starfish on my fishing rod. Isn`t that very similar?
Indeed, a starfish looks a bit like Auraknot and on your tile, the pattern Meer looks like the waves of the sea. It is a splendid work and I do like it very much. I think this tile will always be a special memorie of your vacation on Skye!
ReplyDeleteI like the way your starfish are having a paddle in the waves. A fun tile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun piece! I love the stars and waves;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the black orbs in this tile, makes great contrast!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looks like starfish dancing in the waves. Lovely work!
ReplyDeleteI love how you tucked the Auraknot into the Meer making for a lovely composition!
ReplyDeleteLiebe Simone, dein Meer macht seinem Namen wirklich alle Ehre! Super schöne Kombination! LG Anja
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun piece...tucking the Auraknot between the Meer! I really like this one!
ReplyDeleteAuraknot playing in Meer waves- Lovely!
