The preparation of these classes took some time. I had many ideas, but what would be the right one for the students? Would we have enough time to finish the tiles without hurrying? Which are appropriate tangles to choose?
Attached I show you some of my tiles which I prepared for this classes.
At first some stars, based on Paradox. This tangle is fun to teach!!
As main tile of the evening I prepared Christmas Cards.
We used 0.1 black Microns and a gold Gelly Roll pen, a red Gelly Moonlight and a transparent Gelly Stardust. The students were thrilled by these pens!
I had a wonderful first christmas class end of November. Based on those experiences (a bit too much!) I changed the content a little bit. The second class run last thursday.
I am really satisfied ... the preparation was good, the students were happy and it was a great experience for my Zentangle teaching journey!
I am so proud of them - some of them had no or only little Zentangle experiences and all of them drew fantastic tiles and Christmas cards!
Look at the Mosaics of the Christmas cards from my students. Aren`t they beautiful?
The first one from November, 16th
And the second from December, 14th:
Around the preparation of these classes I drew some other Christmas Cards for my friends.
Here are some of them... they are my contribution to the DIVA Challenge #345 "Holiday Greetings"
Happy Anniversary, dear Laura! Seven years!! What a great job every single week! Thank you for that!
Last but not least I took part at Adele Brunos IAST challenge #223 this week.
Adele proposed to use the tangles Stella by Jana Rogers, CZT and Ahh by Maria Thomas.
I did not read to the end and drew only Stella .... I am sorry.. ;-)
I wish you all Merry Christmas,
peaceful holidays with your families with some good food and fine drinks and enough time
for relaxation and "Happy Tangling"!
